Technical Trading

TECHNICAL TRADING is the act of buying and selling securities based upon the resulting decisions after performing a technical analysis of that security.
The tools used to do the technical analysis, are many and diverse in nature.
Some of the more common and familiar indicators used to do the analysis are Moving Averages, Breakouts, Head and Shoulders, Support and Resistance levels, Saucers, Cup and Handles, Advance and Decline, Flags, Candlesticks, Point and Figure, Channels and on and on.
Technical analysis and trading do not consider the underlying fundamentals of the security.
Technical traders are only interested in the patterns of the price movements to help identify which direction the next move may be.
